The NIH advised citizens to adopt precautionary measures and got themselves vaccinated against the coronavirus and its variants.

Despite the emergence of a case of a new sub-variant of Omicron in Pakistan yesterday, the overall situation of the pandemic is not bothersome so far as there was no fatality reported again on Tuesday and the infectivity ratio declined to 0.28% during the last 24 hours, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the latest statistics provided by the National Health Institute of Pakistan, 10,869 coronavirus tests were conducted across the country during the last 24 hours out of which only 34 cases were diagnosed with the virus.

No casualty was reported and the infectivity ratio again remained low plummeting to 0.28%. However, as many as 103 patients were stated to be in critical condition.

As per the latest NIH data, the death toll has climbed up to 30,375, whereas the number of total infections now stood at 1,528,565 after adding the fresh 46 cases.
