Islamabad DC urges people to delete bank manager’s harassment video

Islamabad Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat urged the people to delete the bank manager’s harassment video which went viral on social media.
In a tweet, the capital’s top bureaucrat said that the culprit was arrested. He appealed to everyone to delete the video and help protect the privacy of the victim lady.
The Islamabad DC wrote, “Now that the culprit is arrested I appeal to everyone to please delete the video and help protect the privacy of the lady.”

Islamabad Police arrested the accused bank manager after he was caught on camera sexually harassing a woman colleague and the video went viral on social media. He was also dismissed from service by the bank after his harassment video spread on social media like a fire.

Also, Federal Ombudsman for Protection against Harassment at Workplace Kashmala Tariq summoned the president of a private bank on November 13 over the harassment case. She also directed the bank to submit CCTV footage of the premises from October 1 to November 9, 2020, and an Internal Harassment Committee Report.
