Meeting to brief MPs on national security postponed

The meeting of the parliamentary leaders about national security has been postponed, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

The meeting of the parliamentary leaders in the Senate and the National Assembly, due to be held on Wednesday, at parliament house will now be held after the elections in Gilgit Baltistan, which are scheduled for November 15.

National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser had already issued the invitations to the parliamentary leaders for the meeting in which the military leadership was expected to brief the political leaders about the matters relating to the national security.
