Special court adjourns cipher case hearing till Nov 14
Statements of prosecution witnesses not recorded due to absence of senior defence lawyer

The special court has adjourned the hearing of the cipher case registered under the Official Secrets Act against former premier Imran Khan and former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi until November 14, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Special Court Judge Abul Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain heard the case in Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi on Friday.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi were brought to the court.
FIA prosecutor Zulfiqar Naqvi, Shah Khawar, and Rizwan Abbasi appeared in the court. While, Salman Safdar, Ali Gohar, and Umair Niazi appeared from the PTI chairman’s side.
However, the statements of prosecution witnesses could not be recorded due to the absence of senior defence lawyer from Lahore.
The court called for three more witnesses at the next hearing. The hearing was adjourned till November 14.
