Kids mistakenly consume 'Rat Poison' in Muzzafarabad, two dead

In a tragic incident in the Patikka area near Siri Bheri, Muzaffarabad, four children ingested a poisonous rat-killing substance, resulting in the death of two children, while two others remain in critical condition.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the kids consumed the poisonous substance, which was mixed with sweets and placed near stored maize grains on the rooftop of their home.
As reported by local sources, believing it was safe, the children ate the rat poison-laced sweets while playing.
Basharat Sohlan and Arshad Sohlan are reported to be the two children who lost their lives due to poisoning. The funeral prayers for the two deceased children were offered.
The two surviving children were immediately transferred to CMH Muzaffarabad, where they are receiving treatment.
