Residents of a locality in Pakpattan beat up three dacoits mercilessly before handing them over to police, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

According to reports, the dacoits were fleeing after robbing two houses in the jurisdiction of Kalyana police station.  

Although the police tried to arrest them, but failed. 

On seeing police’s failure, locals chased them and managed to get hold of them. 

They vented their anger at them by kicking and punching them. 

Later, they handed over the dacoits to the police.
