Punjab Governor Baligh-ur-Rehman Saturday appointed permanent Vice Chancellors at four universities for four years, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Doctor Javed Akhtar was appointed as the Vice Chancellor for the University of Sahiwal while Doctor Muhammad Ramzan was appointed as Vice Chancellor Emerson University of Multan, while Doctor Qaisar Abbas got charge of the University of Sargodha. 

Doctor Muhammad Kamran will be handling the responsibilities as VC of Muhammad Nawaz Shareef University of Engineering and Technology.

Higher Education Commission (HEC) issued the notification in this regard after the approval of the Governor of Punjab.
