The adage ‘love knows no barriers’ was proved yet again when a Vietnamese girl married a Pakistani boy belonging to Narowal a week ago, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Muhammad Tahir and Le Bich Minh, now known as Aamna, both teachers, had met for the first time in Dubai two years back where they had gone to apply for a job at an office housed in Burj Khalifa.
Later, in their interactions with each other they developed friendship.
They did not part ways with each other even after leaving Dubai and remained in touch on internet.
The infatuation forced the girl to come to Narowal where she first embraced Islam and then contracted marriage with Tahir.
She was named Aamina after converting to Islam.
Their nikah was solemnized at Jamia Mosque Hanafia Qasmia, while the marriage ceremony was held at a local hall.
Sweets were distributed at the mosque after their nikah.
Another interesting thing was that many people, who had not been invited to the function, turned up at the marriage hall.
Later, narrating her experience of her stay in Pakistan and how she felt about her marriage function, Aamina said she was extremely excited and pleased with the arrangements made for the event.
She further said she was feeling completely at home in Narowal.
Expressing her views about Islam, Aamina said the religion preaches brotherhood and tolerance.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Vietnamese girl came to Pakistan in first week of September.
