The coalition partners have reposed trust in Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.
During a dinner he hosted for the coalition partners, the prime minister asked the lawmakers to stay in the federal capital even after the completion of the legislation process.
The coalition parties have also assured the government of full cooperation in constitutional amendments
The prime minister expressed his anger over the language used by the PTI leaders at yesterday’s rally, saying such a language has never been used in the country's political environment which a party has adopted.
According to the sources, the participants are of the view that the government has the support of Jamiat Ulema Islam (JUI).
The PM shared with the participants the measures regarding the economic situation, saying the government brought down the inflation rate and the people will be given more relief.
The coalition parties appreciated the Prime Minister's efforts for economic stability.
He recalled his previous government’s efforts, saying; “We saved the country's economy from bankruptcy by sacrificing our politics.”
“After assuming the responsibilities of Khadim-e-Pakistan, I vowed to solve public problems.
“The positive results of the government's economic reforms have started reaching the people in the form of prosperity of the people.
“It is impossible to achieve the goal of development of Pakistan without making the common man's life easy and his economic prosperity.
“Digitization of the economy is the top priority of the government. The initiation of complete digitization of the Federal Board of Revenue is an important milestone in this regard.
He added: “Steps are being taken for the poor and low-income sections regarding electricity bills
“The process of rightsizing and downsizing has started in terms of reducing the size of government and reducing expenditure. The country needs political stability and continuity of policies.
“We all have to work together to get Pakistan out of economic difficulties
Venting his anger at PTI’s rally, he said “Yesterday in a meeting of a political party, the most offensive language was used, which can hardly be condemned.
“Terrorism was eradicated under the leadership of Mian Nawaz Sharif but unfortunately it has resurfaced. We are determined to eliminate terrorism.”
