Interior minister, ANP chief discuss steps to establish peace in KP

Awami National Party (ANP) President Senator Aimal Wali Khan on Tuesday met with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Islamabad and discussed a raft of issues with him, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Matters of mutual interest and the country's situation in particular were discussed in the meeting.
Measures to establish peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were also pondered over during the meeting.
Talking on the occasion, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that terrorism in all its forms and manifestation is condemnable and the national narrative against terrorism is the voice of Pakistan.
Mohsin Naqvi said that everyone has to be united to fight terrorism as the ANP has fought against terrorism resolutely.
He said ANP people have sacrificed their lives in the war against terrorism and they pay glowing tribute to them.
Today, the time has come to rise above political and partisan differences and cleanse Pakistan of terrorist groups and with the support of the people, the terrorists will be wiped out, Mohsin Naqvi added.
Aimal Wali Khan assured ANP's support for counter-terrorism efforts, saying terrorists killed innocent people and “I am with you in this battle”.
The minister reaffirmed government's commitment of eliminating terrorists with the support of public.
