Momal Sheikh labels her family ''The Kapoor family of Pakistan'

Celebrated Pakistani actress Momal Sheikh, daughter of veteran actor Javed Sheikh appeared as a guest at Ushna Shah's show 'After Hours' on channel 365 where she said that her family is like the famous Kapoor family of Bollywood.

Momal Sheikh's whole family is in showbiz including her father Javed Sheikh, a versatile actor in the Pakistani showbiz industry, her brother Shahzad Sheikh, a handsome and talented one in the industry and her uncle Saleem Sheikh is also an actor and producer in the industry.

They all managed to make a name for themselves. Momal Sheikh started in the industry after she was married and she is also a known face now.

During the conversation in the show, she spoke about her experiences while living in a star family.

Momal Sheikh expressed her belief that her family is 'The Kapoor family of Pakistan'.

She said that like Kapoors all her family is famous and successful in showbiz and she said how the Sheikh family and Sabzwari family have jointly made the Kapoor family of Pakistan.

“We are the Sheikhs, and Behroze uncle is Sabzwari. He is my phuppa (uncle) as he is married to Safeena phuppo (aunt), who is the sister of my father. Salim chacha (uncle) and baba (my father) are brothers of course, and like Kapoors'.

"We are the Sheikh family of Lollywood”, she added.

She also added that her father and brother do not behave like the Kapoors though. There is no nepotism and they will not make any calls for you to get work.

She is not that strict about being self-made but her father never paid for her way through the world and you have to work on your own.

It is pertinent to note here that Momal Sheikh is the elder daughter of seasoned actor Javed Sheikh, from his first wife to Zinat Mangi. She also has a brother Shahzad Sheikh, who is also an actor, whereas, actor Saleem Sheikh, is their paternal uncle.
