The Pakistan women’s football team secured a consolation win in the Asian Football Council Women's Olympic Qualifiers, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

The national players faced host Tajikistan at the Hisor Central Stadium. 

Under the leadership of Malaika Noor, the national team started the match aggressively and in the 26th minute, Zahmina Malik scored the first goal, which proved to be decisive. 

The Green Shirts created history by securing the third position in Group E of the Women's Olympic Qualifiers.
