Mujhay Pyaar Hua Tha has been produced by Big Bang Entertainment (producers: Fahad Mustafa and Doctor Ali Kazmi) while it has been directed by Badar Mehmood and the cast comprises of: Wahaj Ali, Hania Aamir, Zaviyaar Nauman, Washma Fatima, Angeline Malik and Rabya Kulsoom.
Here is exactly how the judge panel of Kya Drama Hai comprising of some of the most accomplished stars of the Pakistani entertainment industry (Marina Khan, Rubina Ashraf and Nadia Khan) feel regarding Pakistani drama serial Mujhay Pyaar Hua Tha’s second last and last episode.
Nadia Khan: “Kuch aisa laga hai ke Badar Mehmood aya hai aur kaha hai ke akhri do episodes te mein direct karsan khudhi total.” (It seems like Badar Mehmood had this strong urge to quickly wrap up the last two episodes of Mujhay Pyaar Hua Hai).
“Aap inke frames dekhein, lighting dekhein aur baaki episodes mein dekhein kya difference hai. These two episodes were shot differently yeh Badar Mehmood ka kaam hai.” (The last two episodes have been shot differently. The frames, lighting and the overall portrayal looks completely different).
“But iska yeh matlab nahi ke it was perfect. Achi baat mujhe yeh lagi ke fast tha, commercial angle se dekha jaye tou bohat satisfying tha kyounke har buray banday ke sath bura hua, ending bohat khoobsurat thi, climax bohat acha tha and most beautiful was I love you phele kyoun nahi bola.” (But it does not at all mean that it was perfect. The aspect that I liked the most was that it was fast and if one would look at the episodes from a commercial angle, then the episodes were very satisfying because everyone’s outcome was bad however the climax was nice and the most engrossing moment was when I Love You’s were exchanged).
“Tou maza aya, good climax mujhe kuch shikayat nahi araam se soi hun uske baad.” (It was fun, the climax was good. I have no reservations and I slept peacefully after watching it).
Marina Khan: “I on the other hand enjoyed Angeline ka akar pan till the end ke agar usko daant bhi par rahi hai tou usne dignity dekhai hai. Aur wo shutup call bhi de deti hai end mein, shaadi wali scene mein bhi she’s standing there, she’s taking the insult.” (I on the other hand enjoyed Angeline’s egoistic attitude, even when she was getting insulted, her dignity remained intact).
Mukarram Kaleem: “Itnay baray gharane mein shaadi horahi hai aur itni thus shaadi.”
Marina: “Pata nahi doosri shadi thi shayad is liay pata nahi.” (Maybe because it was the second marriage that’s why).
“Mera sirf masla hota hai jo wind up mein wo yeh hota hai ke ek scene mein kisi ko manhus keh rahay ho dosre scene mein beta mujhse ghalti hogayee. Same thing with Wahaj’s mother ke manhus manhus manhus phir pappi jhappi.” (In one scene they are lathering each other with insults and in other scenes they are kissing and hugging, what is this rubbish?)
Rubina Ashraf: “Ek tou please in female actors ko koi yeh bata de ke apnay gharon mein heelain pehen kar koi nahi ghoomta. Matlab apnay ghar mein stilletos pehen kar kaun ghoomta hai?” (I fail to understand why would women walk around in their houses wearing heels, who wears stilettos while roaming inside their premises?)
“Wahaj ki ami ne mujhe is play mein bohat chirhaya hai. People loved the ending but uske ilawa kuch bhi sahi nahi tha. Last scene aur zada mazeed mazay ka hosakta tha.” (I am very annoyed with Wahaj’s mother in this play. People loved the ending but except for the ending nothing was right in the drama. The last scene could have improved a bit).

Mukarram Kaleem: “Writing ki baat karte hain Nadia appse.” (Shall we talk about the script now?)
Nadia Khan: “Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha mein sense nahi samajh ata aisa lagta hai ke chatta nakhun dhoond rahay ho shukar hai khatam hogaya agay mujhse baat na karein.” (I see no sense in this drama serial, Thank God it has finished).
Marina Khan: “Yeh jo attempted rape ka jo sisila shuroo hua I didn’t like it and I would like to give it four and a half.” (I didn’t like it and I would rate it a four and a half on ten).
