Saba Qamar and Aamina Sheikh reunite for new drama after 14 years

Saba Qamar and Aamina Sheikh are working together in a new drama after 14 years. 

In a video now circulating on social media, Saba Qamar extended a warm welcome to Aamina Sheikh as the later has returned to TV after a long break. 

Saba and Aamina had worked together in the drama serial Maat in 2012. Saba was a newcomer at that time, while Aamina was at the peak of her acting career. The name of the drama serial Saba and Aamina are featuring in has not been revealed yet.

A reunion that definitely was not on our cards was Maat sisters Saba Qamar and Aamina Sheikh. Earlier this week, the former took to her Instagram to post a series of pictures of the on-screen sibling duo, the caption being a sweet note penned by Saba, expressing her love and admiration for her costar and friend.

Reflecting on their time together, Saba said in an earlier interview, “I can’t help but feel truly grateful for the time spent with such a wonderful soul. Your presence brought warmth and joy to my home and our conversations left me inspired.”

She continued to praise Aamina’s qualities, adding, “I admire not just your incredible talent as an actor but also the grace and authenticity with which you live your life. It’s rare to meet someone who embodies such genuine kindness and wisdom, and I feel fortunate to have you as a friend.”
