Kaifi Khalil opens up about struggling phase to stardom journey

The Kana Yaari and Kahani Suno famed singer Kaifi Khalil was interviewed by Fuchsia’s Rabia Mughni.
In the rarest interview, the young singer has opened up candidly about his journey from a struggling phase to stardom. He talked about both the struggle of his personal life as well as his professional life.
He told the host that he is from Lyari and his father was also a local Balochi singer. He never attended school because he was struggling to survive back then. He continued, "I've learned a lot of life lessons through my life."
He also revealed that he spent his childhood in abject poverty and he had to do labor and menial work to make his ends meet. He father passed away when he was a child, hence he used to work on small shops and even at construction sites at a very young age.
Back then, he used to spend his meager earnings on cassettes and musical instruments since he was so enthusiastic about music and wanted to carry on his late father's musical legacy.
Talking about his professional journey, he said:
“One day I was lying at home at night and was checking my message. Suddenly, I saw a message from Zulfi Bhai asking me to send my music to him.”
“I couldn’t believe my eyes that Zulfi bhai has messaged me,” he continued.
He then said that he sent three songs to Zulfi bhai including Kana Yaari and that’s how Kana Yaari happened.
He added that the entire procedure took a total of 8 months until Kana Yaari was released. During that process, he was not allowed to reveal anything to anyone. Therefore he kept it secret even from his family.
