Blast in junk warehouse in Multan, child killed, three injured

A child was killed and three other people were seriously injured in an explosion in a junk warehouse in Tawakal Town, Multan on Sunday evening.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, police officials confirmed that nine-year-old Ahmed Ali was killed in a blast and three other children were seriously injured.
The injured have been identified as 55-year-old Muhammad Ali, 50-year-old Arif and 14-year-old teen girl Mah Noor.
A case has been registered in the Shah Shams Police Station under Sections 302, 324 and others.
The police officials said the injured persons are undergoing treatment at Nishtar Hospital. The sources said the condition of the two injured, Mah Noor and Arif, is critical.
Deceased Ahmed Ali's maternal uncle Muhammad Rasheed told the media that the children were playing with the junk in the warehouse when the blast occurred.
Rasheed also said that the mother of the deceased child was divorced for a year and Ahmed Ali had been living with his father Arif.
