Akcent teases Pak fans with possibility of composing PSL 7 and 8 anthems

The famed Romania band Akcent has teased Pakistan fans with an encrypted tweet raising the hopes the band may sing an official song for PSL 7 or 8.

The recently released Pakistan Super League (PSL) six anthem has received a mixed reaction with netizens bashing the PCB while most of the celebrities have been supporting the anthem.
However, Akcent, gave netizens something to fuss about again and fans took the opportunity and started to suggest Akcent to does an Ali Zafar and released the PSL song for its sixth edition as well.
In response to Akcent, a user tweeted, “Yes it will be a proud moment for us please do make a PSL 6 anthem. At least we won’t have to listen to this year’s crappy anthem.”

Since Groove Mera became the target of social media, many celebrities had jumped to defend it. The track featured legendary singer Naseebo Lal, Aima Baig and rapping duo Young Stunners. Composed by celebrated musician Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan (Xulfi) and Adnan Dhool.
The disparagement recently got support from the cricket legend Shoaib Akhtar, who stated, “I am about to file a case against PCB. Who came up with this idea?" he began. "Such an awful composition and anthem.
Romanian electro-pop sensation Adrian Sina and band Akcent already has a surfeit of fans scattered in Pakistan. With his latest antics, he's only adding on to the existing fan-base.
The singer and songwriter was seen vaunting a kurta at a European music festival, reported The Current.
In an Instagram post, Sina confirmed that the kurta was indeed from Pakistan, as speculated by fans. “Setting new trends with my beautiful Pakistani kurta on a YouTube Music Event in Europe.”

Sina was wearing the Pakistani garment as a style statement, not just homage to Pakistan. He was just simply trying to set a new fashion trend.
This is not the first time that the Romanian singer has expressed love and appreciation for Pakistani culture.
Previously, in an Instagram session with a local outlet, he expressed his desire to work with actor and occasional singer Ayesha Omar. During the session, he was asked as to which Pakistani actor he would love to work with.
