Some armed robbers who tried to snatch a motorcycle from a youth chopped off his nose for putting up resistance in the suburban area of Dhakan in Shikarpur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

Police said that some robbers intercepted a motorcyclist at Chatomangi Lado area near Dhakan and tried to snatch his two-wheeler. But the motorcyclist resisted. Upon which, the muggers tortured him and cut off his nose, hurting him seriously.

The youth was taken to hospital in critical condition. 

The injured motorcyclist said that he was going to his village when some robbers stopped him and tried to snatch his bike. 

He said they also beat him with the butt of their pistols on resistance.
