Pak Railways to upgrade three express trains

Pakistan Railways has decided to upgrade Karakoram Express, Karachi Express, and Pak Business Express within 120 days, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
A decision to this effect was taken in a meeting of the Pakistan Railways officials held here on Saturday. Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafiq presided over the meeting that also decided to maintain Khyber Mail and Jafar Express up to the mark.
Taking to Twitter, the minister penned that the meeting was told that a contract to send 30,000 tons of rice per month to Iran by train is about to be finalized.

It was decided in the meeting to raise the income of the Railway’s dry port to Rs 2 billion per year.
The meeting also reviewed the progress on the restoration of the flood-affected Hark Bridge in Balochistan.
The minister urged the official to plan for the upgradation of Sibi and Taftan railway stations.
