Punjab, South Korea to bolster tourism, cultural ties

South Korean Ambassador to Pakistan Suh Sangpyo on Saturday called on Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi and discussed with him bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The chief minister and Korean ambassador expressed their eagerness to enhance cooperation between both countries in tourism, culture and other fields.
Provincial Minister for Information and Culture Amir Mir was also present during the meeting.
Both leaders also discussed enhancing trade ties between both nations.
CM Mohsin Naqvi said Pakistan and Korea enjoyed strong friendly and economic bonds.
He said the exchange of more delegations could strengthen the existing ties between both countries.
CM Naqvi said tourism and culture fields had immense potential and both countries could exploit their benefit. He said the Taxila and Harappa could attract a lot of tourists from Korea.
He expressed hope that with help of Korean experience Punjab would promote tourism.
Korean Ambassador Suh Sangpyo said Pakistan is a hospitable country. He also expressed his desire to boost cooperation and strengthen existing relations between both countries.
