Senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and former Sindh minister Manzoor Wassan, who is famous for prophesying what will the country’s political situation look like in the future has made new predictions, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Talking to the media at Kot Diji, he has said that there is a possibility of an independent winner becoming the country’s next prime minister and another independent Punjab’s chief minister.
He has said that no political party has been able to get a majority either in the National Assembly or the Punjab Assembly.
The PPP leader has opined that independents will prefer the PPP to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). “The possibility of PPP and independents together forming governments in Punjab and the Center cannot be ruled out,” Wassan has said, adding, “The PPP will prove to be a game changer at Center, Punjab and Balochistan.”
The former minister has reminded that he made a prediction that this time independent candidates would be elected to assemblies in large numbers.
He has further said that the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) was dreaming to form a government in Sindh. “However, it managed to win just two seats.”
