Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid a visit to Punjab Primary and Secondary Health Care Department and inaugurated FM Radio "Sahat Zindagi" of Health Department, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.


CM Naqvi inspected the studios and various departments of FM Radio "Sahat Zindagi". He also recorded a message for FM Radio "Sahat Zindagi".


On the occasion, the CM said the launch of FM Radio "Sahat Zindagi" was commendable. Naqvi said through FM Radio people will be able to be informed about the prevention and treatment of diseases.


He advised that experts from various medical fields should be invited on FM radio "Sahat Zindagi" and public should be made aware about health.


He said FM "Sahat Zindagi" will prove to be a useful project in the health sector.


The broadcast of FM Radio "Sahat Zindagi" can be heard within a radius of about 50 km in Lahore. Mohsen Naqvi said Provincial Minister and Secretary Primary Secondary Health deserve congratulations for launching FM "Sahat Zindagi". Mohsen Naqvi.


Talking to media Mohsin Naqvi said the upgradation of some hospitals was in the final stages of completion while those hospitals which have not been upgraded will be done in the next phase.


He said new operation theaters, MRI machines and other facilities will be arranged in collaboration with the private sector.


Naqvi also inaugurated HRIMS, ORIM, HIDU, a dedicated van and coaster project for Video Link.


Provincial Minister Primary and Secondary Health Dr. Jamal Nasir. Chief Secretary Punjab, Secretary Construction and Communications, Secretary Health and related authorities were also present on this occasion.
