12 die as brake-free 22-wheeler crushes many vehicles in Karak

At least 12 people died and 15 injured when a 22-wheeler crushed many vehicles and fell on a passenger coach on Indus Highway in Karachi on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the Karak deputy commissioner, the terrible accident occurred after brakes of the 22-wheeler were failed at Ambiri Kalma Chowk.
The wheeler driver lost control of his vehicle and hit a number of vehicles while trying to stop his monster truck but failed. In the end, the giant wheeler fell on a passenger coach.
As per Rescue 1122 personnel, the wheeler crushed a number of people under its wheels.
The rescue staffers feared that the death toll may rise as they were still retrieving passengers from the coach pressed by the wheeler.
