Investigations reveal SSGC director honey-trapped before being murdered

Investigations into the death of Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) Limited Director Rahim Ali Shah have made a startling revelation according to which the deceased had been honey trapped before being murdered, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
It is learnt that the deceased had been in contact with various people for business matters. He had reached Tariq Road for a business meeting the other night. He had been called to the meeting through a honey trap.
Rahim Shah sensed the danger during the meeting and informed his friend about his location and the situation he had observed.
After an unpleasant incident during the meeting, Rahim Shah’s mobile phone was switched off and he went missing.
The police detained four people including a woman for the alleged kidnapping and murder of Rahim Shah.
According to police sources, the accused were said to be the relatives of the suspect involved in the Karachi Airport attack case. The office, where the meeting was held, was also stated to be the property of the suspect.
“Rahim Shah’s car was recovered from Sarjani Town,” police said.
“Rahim Shah was shifted to Civil Hospital in critical condition. After he died, the accused left the body in the civil hospital and fled,” they added.
“As the body was not identified, it was taken to Edhi mortuary where the police ascertained its identity,” they stated.
Rahim Shah is said to be a close relative of an important political figure of Sindh.
