Pakistani mountaineer Naila Kiani to start Broad Peak expedition tomorrow

Pakistani’s fearless woman mountaineer Naila Kiani will start her mission for summiting the Broad Peak tomorrow, reported 24newsHD TV channel on Monday.
The Secretary of Alpine Club of Pakistan Karrar Haidri said that Broad Peak sitting at 8047-meters is the 12th highest peak in the world.
Karrar said that Naila Kiani is very enthusiastic and determined to scale 14 of the world’s highest peaks.
After scaling Broad Peak, Naila will have the honor of being the first Pakistani woman to have scaled five peaks higher than 8000 meters.
It was said that if the weather condition remain the same and do not get extreme, Naila will summit the broad peak by the end of this month.
She recently bagged the title of first Pakistani woman to visit the ‘Killer Mountain’ Nanga Parbat. The mountain has a very frightening ascent along with the risk of unstable glaciers, avalanches and storms. She has also visited K2, Gesherbram 1 and Gesherbram 2 in Pakistan. In addition to the above stated summits and visits, Kiani scaled the fourth highest mountain in the world at 8,516 meters, Mount Lhotse in Nepal in May.
