Father-sons dacoit gang busted by Lahore police

The Lahore police have busted a “family gang of dacoits” consisting of father and his two sons who were involved in numerous robberies in different districts of Punjab, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
The arrested accused were identified as Sajjad, Nauman Sajjad and Zeeshan Sajjad.
The police from Joseph Colony post of Badami Bagh busted the father-sons inter-district motorcycle-snatching gang. The accused had committed dacoits in several districts including Lahore and Kasur.
The police seized three pistols, two stolen motorbikes and cash from the dacoits.
SP City Captain (retd) Qazi Ali Raza commended the policemen for arresting the gang, saying steps are being taken to ensure the arrest of street criminals.
Rs12 million dacoity in Defence house
Thieves have stolen jewellery worth 12 million rupees from a house in Lahore’s Defence.
The jewellery ornaments included bangles, necklace, earrings, diamond set, rings and other items.
The Defence B police have registered a case and launched an inquiry into the incident.
