LHC acquits two convicts sentenced to death in double murder after 10y

The Lahore High Court (LHC) Thursday acquitted two convicts who were sentenced to death in the double murder case of women for resisting robbery in Lahore.
According to details, murdered Rasoolan Bibi and Yasmeen Bibi, were the residents of the Sherakot area of Lahore city.
The lower court awarded sentenced to death to both the accused of double murder.
The LHC acquitted the two prisoners on the grounds of poor police investigation and discrepancies in witness statements.
A bench comprising Justice Sadaqat Ali Khan and Justice Shahram Sarwar Chaudhry acquitted the two prisoners.
Sherakot Police Station had registered a case of murder of Rasoolan Bibi and Yasmeen Bibi on June 18, 2010.
