Leslie Scanlon was Friday appointed as Canada’s new high commissioner to Pakistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the official sources, the newly appointed high commissioner has reached Pakistan and assumed the office.
Former Canadian high commissioner Wendy Gilmour has been appointed as the assistant secretary general of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO).
The new Canadian high commissioner has resolved to further strengthen ties with Pakistan.
