Female sub-inspector foils escape bid of rape accused from LHC premises

A brave and fearless female sub-inspector of Hafizabad police Friday thwarted the fleeing attempt of a rape accused from the Lahore High Court premises, reported 24NewsHd TV channel

According to the details, Mehwish Aslam, the fearless and brave police officer of Hafizabad police, arrested the accused Abdul Razzaq after his appeal for bail was rejected in the rape case.

The accused Abdul Razzaq kidnapped a married woman a few months ago and raped her. The accused Abdul Razzaq approached the High Court for bail.

After hearing the arguments, the High Court rejected the interim bail of the accused. Upon rejection of bail appeal, the accused tried to run away, on which Sub-Inspector Mehwish arrested the accused from the court premises, failing his attempt to escape.

She tied the arms of the accused with a cloth after arresting him.

DPO Hafizabad announced a ceremonial certificate and cash reward for the bravery of Sub Inspector Mehwish Aslam. On this occasion, DPO Hafizabad Rai Mazhar Iqbal said that Sub-Inspector Mehwish Aslam made the daughters of the nation proud by arresting the beast Abdul Razzaq, who had victimized Hawa's daughter.
