Guru Nanak’s 553rd anniversary celebrations conclude

The three-day celebrations of the 553rd birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak concluded on Friday at Gurdwara Sri Punja Sahib in Hassan Abdal, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Hundreds of Sikh Yatrees (pilgrims) including political and socio-religious leaders from India and other countries came to Gurdwara Panja Sahib to participate in the celebrations.
The main celebration of the anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak was held at Janumasthan Nankana Sahib on November 8 in which, Sikh Yatrees participates enthusiastically.
Before returning to India, a number of Sikh pilgrims had a special interview with 24 News. The Sikh pilgrims were very happy with the arrangements and security provided by Pakistan.
They said that the government of Pakistan had won the hearts of Sikh Yatrees by issuing special visas and permission for the ceremony in the spirit of goodwill.
They said that they were told in India that the conditions in Pakistan were very bad. But, they came here and found nothing wrong, they added. Rather, the Pakistanis have made very good arrangements and our heart is longing for Pakistan to come again and again.
