A PML-N leader who was arrested by the Wazirabad police two days ago for making a ‘threatening’ speech against the PTI long marchers was released on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Police on Wednesday arrested former UC chairman Imtiaz Azhar Bagri who belongs to the PML-N “to ensure law and order” ahead of resumption of the PTI’s long march from Wazirabad yesterday.

Bagri delivered a speech at a PML-N workers’ convention in which he allegedly threatened to block the PTI’s long march if he was asked by the PML-N leadership to do so.

Bagri is a relative of former IG motorway Zulfiqar Cheema and is quite close to PML-N MNA Dr Nisar Cheema.
