Two shot dead as transporters clash in Larkana

Two people were killed while three sustained injuries when a dispute between transporters in Larkana took an ugly turn on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

According to police, the incident took place at the bus stand area of Ratodero where a clash erupted between the transporters over the working hours of the vehicles. Both parties then started firing at each other turning the area into a war zone.  

As a result, two men, Siraj Jalbani and Zaheer Ali, died instantly while three left seriously injured. The accused, however, managed to flee the scene and the situation in the area is tense. 

The bodies and the injured were shifted to a hospital.

A heavy contingent of the police has been deployed in the area amid chaotic situation.
