Court orders Sindh govt to provide security to Tiktoker Hareem Shah

The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Tuesday ordered the Sindh government to provide security to popular TikToker Hareem Shah, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The TikToker had approached the SHC yesterday (October 10, 2022) and told the court she was receiving threatening calls from unidentified persons; therefore she be provided security.  

Hareem, who reached the SHC along with her husband Bilal Shah, made the IGP Sindh, Sindh home ministry and others respondents in her plea.

Munir Ahmed Khan, Hareem’s lawyer, prayed to the court for immediate hearing of the plea, following which the court constituted a single-member bench consisting of Justice Aftab Ahmad Gorar for the purpose.
