Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Chairman Imran Khan has said a commission comprising credible judges should be formed to investigate the cypher matter, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a crowded public rally at Nankana Sahib on Tuesday, he thanked to the government for raising the cypher issue again. However, he declined to become a part of the commission being constituted by the government to probe the cypher.
He claimed that how can the government investigate the matter when they themselves are implicated in it?
He reiterated that thieves are making deep fake videos to smear me. He termed these audio leaks as doctored, edited and ‘deep fake’.
“I am going to court against it, he said adding that modern technology has made all things possible.
On the occasion, he also a few ‘edited’ clips of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz to prove his point of view.
Imran Khan claimed that the government wants to appoint an army chief of their liking, but such an action would be the “murder of merit” in such a critical appointment.
