Former President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday underlined his enduring connection to the land and his unwavering dedication to its welfare, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a gathering of workers in Darya Khan Marri village of
Tando Allahyar reiterated, "This earth has given birth to me, and I will always strive for it."
Zardari while addressing the people said, "I know you, and you know me." He emphasized that when given the opportunity, the PPP has consistently served the people and the land they call home. “I want to tell the enemies that the elections are near, we pass in every exam,” he vowed.
The former president also touched upon the legacy of Shaheed Bhutto and the deep-rooted bond between the party and its supporters.
He highlighted the significance of the Eighteenth Amendment, which granted distinct identities to various regions, allowing them to exercise greater autonomy over their affairs.
Zardari expressed that Bilawal Bhutto and Asifa Bhutto will continue to serve the people just as he has served them.
He affirmed the collective commitment of the PPP to the welfare of the nation.
