Collectorate of Customs Peshawar during on-going anti-smuggling campaign foiled an attempt to smuggle 35 expensive mobile phones at Bacha Khan Airport in Peshawar, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.


Chief Collector Mohammad Jamil said that customs team deputed at the airport recovered 36 pricy mobile phones from the luggage of a passenger.


The luggage was arrived in Peshawar from Jeddah through a private airline.


In another operation customs team recovered 35 kilograms of hashish from a vehicle in Charsadda.


It is pertinent to mention here that Collectorate of Customs Peshawar seized smuggled goods worth Rs592 million in different operations during current year.
