OGRA announces big slash in LNG prices for October

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) announces big cut in liquefied natural gas (LNG) prices for October 2024, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the notification, OGRA has reduced LNG prices by 7.11 percent. LNG price cut on Sui Sothern’s system is by $0.95 per MMBTU. New LNG price for Sui Southern is fixed at $12.47 per MMBTU. Meanwhile, LNG price cut has been reported by $0.92 per MMBTU on Sui Northern system. New price of LNG on Sui Northern’s system is fixed at $12.94 per MMBTU. The new LNG prices will be applicable for October. Ogra had last month made LNG cheaper by 1.15 percent for September. Comparing October to September, the new LNG price for SNGPL has been set at $12.46 per MMBtu, while SSGC will see a price of $12.94 per MMBtu. Notably, the price per MMBtu has dropped by 91 cents in this latest adjustment. These price changes will take effect from October 1, marking a significant relief for consumers as the country continues to navigate its energy challenges.
