Nawaz Sharif condemns Lahore Motorway rape incident

Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday condemned the incident involving gang rape of a woman in Lahore this week. 

The PML-N patron and three-time prime minister said in a statement from London that the incident was heart-wrenching. He said it was a matter of Pakistani’s dignity that the culprits should be arrested as soon as possible and awarded the strictest punishment. He said this incident on Lahore-Sialkot Motorway has brought shame to the entire nation. He said this incident has desecrated the entire society and the state. He said the entire government system would remain a culprit until and unless the rape victim is dispensed justice.
