Anti-polio vaccinator was assaulted at a gun point in Jacobabad, medical report has verified the claim after victim was shifted to nearby hospital for emergency treatment, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to police, incident took place in nearby village Allah Baksh Jhakrani. Deputy Commissioner Zahoor Murri and SSP Sumir Noor reached the hospital as soon as the incident was reported.
DC Zahoor said that in medical examination, it was proved than an attempt has been made to abuse polio worker. He said polio worker were taken to an empty place on the plea that there were children who should be administered drops and after reaching the deserted site, the victim’s mobile phone was snatched by the culprits.
SSP Sumair Noor Channa claimed that police were conducting raids for the arrest of the accused.
