Paralysed woman shot dead by 'tired' husband in Faisalabad

A tragic incident unfolded in the Gulberg police station area in Faisalabad where Muniba Bibi, who had been suffering from paralysis for many years, was shot dead by her husband, Muneer Ahmed, on Tuesday.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the incident occurred in the Mohammadpura locality, and according to reports, Muneer Ahmed, distressed by his wife’s long-term illness, became overwhelmed and resorted to violence.

Muniba Bibi died on the spot from gunshot wounds, while Muneer Ahmed managed to flee the scene immediately after the shooting.

Gulberg police have initiated an investigation and have transferred Muniba's body to the mortuary for further procedures.
