Ayesha Omer speaks about 8-year-long abusive relationship

In a recent interview with Fareeha Altaf at FWhy Podacst, ‘Bulbulay’ actress Ayesha Umer indulged in a healthy and meaningful conversation with the host.

She talked about different phases of her life, challenges she confronted as being a celeb in Pakistan.

She also spoke about 8 years of an abusive relationship.

“It took me so long to walk away from that relationship”, she said.

The ‘Habs’ actress revealed that both their families had been involved and they were nearly engaged, but suggested that she was lucky enough to part ways before tying the knot.

She said he had a habit of using abusive language but she believed she would bring about a change.

She added she suffered verbal and emotional atrocities.

‘Bisaat’ actress also shared her opinion saying that she did not understood the concept that in dramas we show that its ok to ‘SLAP’ a women but ‘KISS’ is not ok.

“I hope he has resolved his issues, as I understand that every supposedly ‘crazy’ behaviour has mental and childhood trauma behind it. Unfortunately, some people just release that trauma in an abusive or physical manner, rather than dealing with it”, she concluded.

Ayesha also cleared that the guy about whom she was talking is not Sikander Rizvi and requested the public to not involve Sikander in the matter.

Reham Khan, the English screenwriter and the ex-wife of former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan took to her twitter and tweeted in appreciation of Lollywood diva Ayesha Omer.
