Boy talking on phone fatally hit by train in Muridke

A boy died after being hit by a speedy train near a railway crossing in Muridke while he was absorbed in talking to someone on his mobile phone, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

A police team arrived at the site of the incident and took injured 17-year-old Kaif to a hospital in critical condition but he died on the way.

Railway officials said that the train was destined for Rawalpindi from Lahore. They further said that the ill-fated boy was busy in talking on his mobile phone when he was badly hit by the train.

Railway police after completing all necessary procedure handed over the dead body to the boy’s family.
