Martyred Lieutenant Uzair Malik buried with full military honours in Attock

Pakistan Army officer Lieutenant Uzair Mehmood Malik, who was martyred in an exchange of fire between security forces and Khawarij in Tirah Valley, was buried with full military honours in his native area of Attock, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to an ISPR statement on Monday, a large number of senior officers of Pakistan Army, soldiers, families of martyrs and elders of the area participated in the funeral prayers and burial of the martyr.

Lt Uzair Malik, who was under treatment at Peshawar’s Combined Military Hospital (CMH) after he was injured during an exchange of fire with militants in Tirah Valley of district Khyber on August 9, succumbed to his injuries on Sunday.

The ISPR said the deceased, who was 24 years and eight months old, fought bravely as he led his troops from the front and sent four militants to ‘hell’.
