LDA directed to construct Karim Block Underpass from own resources

While refusing to provide funds for the construction of Karim Block Underpass due to the budget constraints, the Punjab Finance Department Monday directed Lahore Development Authority (LDA) to construct the underpass from its own resources, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the Finance Department sources, the Primary and Secondary Health Department asked for six vehicles, Home Department 25 vehicles and Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) demanded 23 vehicles for the officers.

The decision to provide vehicles to these departments will be taken later.
