Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Wednesday he didn’t care about what people were saying about him on news channels.
Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad, the prime minister said that fear makes people coward and mental slavery is the worst of all slaveries. He said that one has to leave everything and focus on his goal to make progress. He said that those who fear defeat cannot make progress. He said that free minds explore new paths and set new directions. He said it’s God who makes a person honourable and nobody could degrade you but God.
Also, INP quoted the prime minister as saying that youth of the country is the biggest asset and Pakistan will soon lead the entire region.
Addressing a ceremony of the National Incubation Centre Startups at Prime Minister’s House, he said that Allah Almighty has blessed Pakistan with innumerable abilities but people do not succeed because they admit defeat.
Khan said that vibrant societies always encouraged the youth to excel, adding that only a government making headway could dare to promote new ideas. He said that behind a successful person was an undeterred struggle based on concentration, determination, ability to overcome challenges and the courage to rise from the ashes.
He lauded the initiative to back startups, which he said showed that Pakistan was heading in the right direction. “With startups playing a key role in economic growth and financial inclusion, the government would facilitate talented entrepreneurs in transforming their innovative ideas into sustainable businesses,” he said.
The prime minister said the objective of startups was to encourage people who wanted to achieve and make progress in life.
The startup programme is in line with the government’s vision of accelerated digitisation and transformation of Pakistan into a knowledge-based economy to spur economic growth through innovation and entrepreneurship.
