Hungry thieves clean out tikka shop in Gujranwala

A peculiar theft took place in Gujranwala’s Alam Chowk area, where hungry thieves looted a tikka shop, taking away food items and cooking utensils, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to Arup Police, the culprits broke the shop’s lock and stole 25 kilograms of fish, 60 kilograms of chicken pakora, two containers of ghee, 10 kilograms of raita, and 4 kilograms of salad.
As per the police report, not stopping at just ingredients, the thieves also took five frying pots with them.
The incident occurred near Alam Chowk in the jurisdiction of Arup Police Station.
A case has been registered, and authorities have launched a search operation to arrest the culprits.
“We are actively searching for the suspects and will apprehend them soon,” assured the police spokesperson to the shop owner.
