PCB sends list of its squad for Champions Trophy, ICC delegation visits Gaddafi stadium

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has sent list of its 15 members squad for ICC Champions 2025 Trophy, reported 24NewsHDTV channel.
The sources said PCB will not disclose the names of the squad. However, PCB can announce changes in its squad till February 11, 2025. The participation of Saim Ayub has been linked with his fitness. Opening batter Fakhar Zaman’s return is expected in tri series and champions trophy. Sources said that ICC has directed all team to send the lists of their squad for ICC Champions 2025 Trophy till January 12, 2025.
The PCB squad comprises Mohammad Rizwan (Captain), Babar Azam, Taib Tahir, Irfan Khan Niazi, Sufian Muqim, Mohammad Hasnain, Abdullah Shafiq, Naseem Shah, Usman Khan, Shaheen Afridi, Abrar Ahmed, Kamran Ghulam, Salman Ali Agha and Haris Rauf. The final list is expected to be announced on February 10.
Meanwhile, ICC delegation visits Qaddafi Stadium Lahore to review preparation and security arrangements for ICC Champions 2025 Trophy.
The ICC delegation comprised the representatives of broadcasters, logistics and events management. During the visit, PCB Director International Usman Wahla briefed the delegation about the arrangements.
