Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah expressed his frustration with Karachi traders, accusing them of focusing on criticism to grab headlines, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

Addressing traders’ concerns, the CM acknowledged the issues but urged them to "speak good words" and collaborate with the government.

"We admit there are problems, but criticising for the sake of it will not solve them," CM Murad Ali Shah remarked.

In response, traders advised the Sindh government to improve its performance to avoid criticism.

Atiq Mir, head of the Karachi Traders' Alliance, questioned, “If we don't criticise broken roads, poor law and order, and sewage problems, then what should we do?”

He highlighted the tragic consequences of negligence, saying, “Children are falling into sewers and dying, and parents are left cursing.”

Ali Shah, Chairman of the All Karachi Traders' Alliance, added that the Sindh government appears fearful of criticism and must focus on delivering results.
