Over dozen ministries, divisions at Center still without heads

Despite the fact that the federal cabinet has taken oath, still there are some ministries and divisions which are without ministers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
Quoting its sources, the channel reported that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was still holding the portfolios of over 12 ministries.
Giving further details, they said that nobody was right now heading ministries namely Climate Change, Information Technology, Communications, Parliamentary Affairs, Inter-Provincial Coordination, Health, National Food Security, Religious Affairs, Water Resources, and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Affairs.
Likewise, PM Shehbaz was himself the in-charge of ministries namely National Security, Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection Division, sources disclosed.
A 19-member federal cabinet had taken oath yesterday.
The ministers were given the portfolios of more than one ministry or division.
On the other hand, following the prime minister’s approval, the Cabinet Division on Tuesday notified Shaza Fatima Khawaja, the only female member in the federal cabinet, as the State Minister for IT and Telecommunications.
