Shehbaz calls for long-term Pak-US economic cooperation

PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif said they wanted a long-term economic partnership between Pakistan and the United States, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.

In his reply to the letter sent by US Ambassador to Pakistan Paul Jones, Shehbaz said it was necessary that the two countries continued working together for a better future.

He thanked the ambassador for the US help to fight the pandemic and said the bilateral relationship was functional and active, as proved by the cooperation amid the current crisis.

The PML-N president expressed sorrow over the loss of over 80,000 lives in the US because of the coronavirus and expressed the hope that the humanity would soon get rid of the virus.
